It feels so weird seeing a car I've actually driven listed on Copart. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
It was my Dad's girlfriends car, which I drove on numerous occasions. Also, no one was injured in the crash. She was driving in her neighborhood with her son about 2 months ago, and was looking in her purse for money for him. Then, she hit the parked truck.

Sounds like she needs one of those new Infinitis or Lexuses or Mercedeses or whatever that commercial was where people need the car to drive for them because they can't keep their eyes on the damn road.

Honestly, if her budget for a new car had been higher, that would have been a great idea. I ended up finding her a 2011 Venza, as it will inevitably meet the same fate in about 3 or so years. Her last car was a Dodge Caravan, which she ran under a truck.

I got nothing. She really hit a parked car at 25-30mph?
The truck was probably violently woken from it's nap by some really unwanted (and failed) buttsecks.
What she really needs is a healthy dose of time back in a drivers ed class. She couldn't have waited for a stop sign, red light, or I don't know, when she was dropping him off?
Sorry, but I don't feel bad...that car never deserved that...

This post made me snicker, as I described what happened in an altercation between a friend's car (that he wasn't driving) and a parked car exactly the same way. ('twas my editorial on his story).

That Veracruz has had so much repair work, that it isn't even funny.
It had just left the body shop a week before the wreck to replace and repaint the two right side doors and mirror after clipping the garage. She had hit the front on the side of the garage too many times to count.
Last christmas, her daughter backed into a tree, which pushed in the entire tailgate, breaking the glass.
2 Christmases ago, she was looking at christmas lights in her neighborhood, and hit the curb at 25-30 mph, blowing the tire, bending the rim, messing up the steering and and bending the control arms.
That is everything that I know of.
